Check-in for today’s day 269 of from St. Petersburg, Florida for a copywriting conference and to connect to recording studios.

Today is Sunday which I’m using to walk around the city and suburbs, get a SIM card, do groceries and have my first meeting.

Ungefähr 18 Stunden nach meiner Abreise in Berlin landete ich in Tampa, wo ich einen Service namens Super Shuttle zu meinem Gastgeber in St. Petersburg in Anspruch nahm. Sie hatten eine Gartenparty und ich schloss mich ihnen an. Gegen 2 Uhr morgens (7 Uhr Berliner Zeit) war ich im Bett, es war also ein einfacher 24-Stunden-Tag. Kein Gefühl von Jetlag.

About 18 hours after departure in Berlin I landed in Tampa where I took a service called Super Shuttle to my host on St. Petersburg. They had a backyard party and I joined them. Around 2am (7am Berlin time) I was in bed so it was a simple 24 hour day. No feeling of jetlag.

I guess the moral here is…

Formally you don’t need to be anything but if you want to make something happen that doesn’t exist you need to invest everything you got and hang out outside of your comfort zone regularly.
