I remembered this one bar a few minutes away from where I was. I went there but it was closed (like forever). I still found a place to do my P business and after that - that P pressure can make you forget to think straight - I remembered the PIN, and I also remember it was 4 digits not 6. So, I unlocked the phone. One hour later than our original meeting time. I called and I apologized. It was embarrassing especially since it was our kick-off meeting.
BUT: I was late. Then also a tram didn’t come and I had forgotten the PIN code of my phone until the point where I remembered - I actually had entered it wrong twice and was afraid to enter it wrong the 3rd because my phone would have gotten locked (and PUK which I don’t remember at all would be needed). So, when I was at the meeting point in Treptower Park she wasn’t there because I was 25 minutes. I now tried to find a Wifi place which there was none, and I also needed to pee urgently.
Day 128 RAW Update (from zero to profit = 2k EUR MRR) - English and Deutsch - of #startupdiarystudiolist. Photos and videos at the end 👉 Fotos und Videos am Ende 👉
An alive day. That’s how I would call what happened today. I was late meeting a friend (Heidi) to start personal training and nutrition consulting. She’s the expert in that and my go-to person for that.
This was day 127. Until May 31, 2019 I had been validating my 👷♂️ startup https://studiolist.org within 4 months while traveling and working (day job, voiceover). If there had been no market validation till June 1, 2019 the startup would have 🧟♂️ died - but it didn’t. So, now I’m in the phase of making it profitable = 2k of monthly recurring revenue is the aim.
Around 7pm I was back at my place. I did the day job, had my „mandatory“ kebab and continued the day job until completion. From tomorrow on, I’ll have two weeks „off“ from the daily day job obligations. I’ll check my day job emails every day in order to be responsive but apart from that I’ll use the „off time“ to do studiolist.org work.
Then I finished the first step of writing my English copywriting questionnaire for quickvoiceover.delivery. The translation into German will follow.
Overall I didn’t get the into a real networking mode. This kind of mass conference with no real focus was not made for that, in my opinion, especially for a solo guy like me just going there and not knowing anyone beforehand going there as well.
There will still some nuggets I learned. Every moment is a learning environment.
Back to concentration. Night was rather short, bit more than 5 hours. Got up rather crestfallen but I pushed through, took a shower, went to WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2019. In total it did cost me 10 hours incl. public transportation. The ROI (return on investment) were some conversation of company’s representatives, the idea that here.com could be a valid way to embed maps into studiolist.org - for the 2020 roadmap. mapbox.com and openstreetmap.org would be the alternatives.

Listening to Justin Bieber (album „Purpose“) I’m writing these lines and dancing in front of the desk *haha* Can’t believe I just wrote that :P
This was day 126. Until May 31, 2019 I had been validating my 👷♂️ startup https://studiolist.org within 4 months while traveling and working (day job, voiceover). If there had been no market validation til June 1, 2019 the startup would have 🧟♂️ died - but it didn’t. So, now I’m in the phase of making it profitable = 2k of monthly recurring revenue is the aim.
So many things to do and some many things I haven done yet, for example I didn’t go to day 1 of the WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2019 at CityCube Berlin, because I preferred to use the flow and momentum I had writing and fine-tuning the copywriting.delivery website. Tomorrow I’ll go and use those 100 € I paid to get the admission. Taking my arbitrary hourly rate of 50 €/hr I can allow myself to spend two hours there and make it a „zero-sum time“ (time on public transportation not included).
I also surprised my mum with a fresh salad, gave her some kind of pep talk on what to feel proud about when the issue is low self-esteem and I worked more on my questionnaire that I’ll be using for a new project request where I’ll potentially be working with chrisgerber.de - we’ll see how it turns out.
I then spent a good amount writing day 4 of the Copywriting Daily and I did the day job followed by writing the draft for Copywriting Daily day 5, more fine-tuning of copywriting.delivery (especially the FAQ section) and a new invention of what I call The Two-Level Questionnaire which I find awesome.
Comparisons are sometimes weird but the amount of time I’m spending on practicing my writing and actually writing is probably close to the amount of Christiano Ronaldo practicing his craft. Oh maybe I’m just trying to find a way to say that I do write a lot and also do enjoy it a lot.
After a short 5-hour night I got up because at 8.20am it was already so warm again.
So much writing goes into my daily activities. Everything is based on writing. My work, my day job, my copywriting service, even my life (because I’m documenting it all). It all starts with writing as Sean McCabe (seanwes.com) says but it also all ends with writing, is what I say - because my day usually ends with writing.
Tired am I am. Bye.
Thanks for reading.
I appreciate you.
This was day 125. Until May 31, 2019 I had been validating my 👷♂️ startup https://studiolist.org within 4 months while traveling and working (day job, voiceover). It’s 02.27am and I want to go bed. Tomorrow (today) is the so-called WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2019 in the CityCube Berlin at Messedamm. I have a ticket and will go for the purpose of maybe finding someone to help me co-develop studiolist.org or maybe for something else. It’s good to be connected to developers in general.
I’ll also start another project that will turn into a book. This project will benefit my copywriting service because it’s about dominating your niche and how to do that. I’ll go through 10.000 resources and dissect their content to find answer on how to dominate a niche market. I’ll share my result per resource here on Instagram. Theses posts will be color-coded in a nice warm blue.
