I got up and tidied up, did the laundry and continued writing on a draft for a copywriting show. I ALMOST STARTED THE SHOW TODAY but then I realized it would be a distraction. I have to get my impulses under control. They are next - next to my biological-reproduction urges - my own inmost worst enemy.

Then the usual tasks, checking via video for the startup diary, sharing Copywriting Daily, and day job.

Then orga work - replying the most urgent and important emails as well as updating my Calendly availability. I will no longer make it possible to schedule a meeting with me on the weekend. Why? A weekend is considered sabbatical-like time. And one condition for a sabbatical is „You don’t schedule in advance“ because one big point of a sabbatical is the release form obligations - a scheduled meeting would be an obligation because you need to attend.

Then more time spent on listening to Naval Ravikant’s „How to get rich“ podcast episode (3 hours of goodness and wisdom). One of my conclusion was the raise of my hourly rate to 5,000€/hr. An hourly rate absurdly as 5k makes sure that I’m only spending time on things that really matter to me. You never know how long this live is going to last… *memento mori*

Today’s biggest epiphany was a new mantra for me to live by:

1. Work on your product,
2. get product-market(-founder) fit,
3. exercise,
4. eat healthy and
5. spend time with quality people who add value to your life

This is my new guiding principle to live by, and this also led to the conclusion of today (see further below).

I worked more on Copywriting Delivery and set up a newsletter for people to sign up for if they’re interested to dominate their niche market. Then a bit more CSS fiddling for the Mailchimp signup form and a run. Yes, I did a run again and earlier this morning I was even doing soft stretching exercises while listening to mediative sounds called „The Pilgrim“ via Digging it!

And today was day number 2 of using again. I stopped using it in March or so and now I’m back which is mainly due to this great application called WIP Menubar - The app allows me to not have to open Telegram but only use a keyboard shortcut and enter a todo or write what I got done. I think it’s awesome. The community aspect of is only relevant for me in terms of its asynchronous functions, e.g. Q&A…

Conclusion: What I had in mind for June 1st is now going to happen from today on until July 1st (and maybe or probably even longer than): I’ll go dark and enter HYPER FOCUS for maximum copywriting client work success. This means no more public studiolist diary until end of June (for now) and maybe longer and no extensive marketing.

This was day 137. Until May 31, 2019 I had been validating my 👷‍♂️ startup within 4 months while traveling and working (day job, voiceover). If there had been no market validation till June 1, 2019 the startup would have 🧟‍♂️ died - but it didn’t. So, now I’m in the phase of making it profitable = 2k of monthly recurring revenue is the aim.
