Smart, young, wanting to learn, doing business while studying and a good English speaker and listener. Made my day this young blood :)
Zirari also impressed by being on time (even early, like a German). He took it very seriously which again made a big impression on me. This guy save the reputation I had of Moroccans for being late.
In Rabat, I walked through the medina to my hotel (Hotel des Oudaias), one of the fancy ones with a stunning view towards the ocean. I also took some time for extended lunch and a little bit of a walk through the Kasbah, which is an old castle-like building and place. Inside the Kasbah area it was commercial and artsy at the same time. Nice atmosphere. The blue-white houses gave me a little bit of a feeling of Chefchaouen where I had been three years ago. I’m a fan of Chefchaouen!
After lunch and the walking tour (I actually overate with salad niçoise and tacos with fries plus an avocado juice, so I felt slightly „food-sick“), I had a good 3-hour nap followed by close to two-hour cold-calling and contacting session. Did someone say call center? :P
The rest of the evening was dedicate to the day job and writing these lines!
I hope I’ll be able to upload the past 7 days of updates here in Rabat but it seems Internet is also not so super fast in this hotel. A coworking space will (again) be my savior, probably.
Thanks for reading.
I appreciate you.
This was day 21 of 120, I’m validating my 👷♂️ startup https://studiolist.io within 4 months while traveling and working (day job, voiceover). If there’s no market validation until Jun 1, 2019 the startup 🧟♂️ dies.
